To All My Beautiful, Badass Ladies!

The most dangerous animal in the world is a silent smiling woman.:

Stop for a second. Don’t think. Let them mumble and grumble and yap. Breathe. Open your eyes. Blink. Give the ceiling a small smirk.

Now, get the hell up!

Go running. Crunches, push-ups, squats, sweat, sweat, hustle, hustle till your muscles scream for mercy! Not the exercising type? No matter. Pour yourself a big cup of coffee, and don’t forget to add two spoons of attitude.

Your favourite shirt is too tight? Wear it. Skirt too short? Wear it. Dress too slutty? Wear it. Jeans too baggy? Wear it. It’s your body, clothe it however you like. Don’t forget to spray on that confidence while you’re at it.

Too much makeup? Absolutely perfect. No makeup? Still perfect. Dab that sexiness all over yourself.

Long nails painted red? Lovely. Chipped nails with scratched out nail colour? Fabulous.

Talk. Don’t keep your voice soft. Be polite. Respectful. But at the same time, don’t be scared to use profanities when moments call. Enunciate them. Let them roll off your tongue like a fucking waterfall.

So, they keep calling you:

A Nerd? Study. No, study harder. Code all night, test circuits without a break, hit the library all day, and aim that death-ray wherever you’re supposed to.

A Princess? Dab a little more of that lipstick, wear your best high heels, and flip your hair with that confidence.

A Party-girl? Get another bottle of vodka, jump onto that table, and dance. Keep dancing and don’t stop till you’re done.

A Bookworm? Tie your hair up, pick up your million and one books, and adjust your glasses with your middle finger.

So you have piercings in the most unlikeliest of places, tattoos in unimaginable places, scars all over, stretch marks, wrinkles, flab, bruises, etc., remember that each represents a tale, and they’re all just a tiny fraction of the whole YOU.

Be stubborn. Be arrogant. But most importantly, be passionate. Wear that gorgeous crown on your head and show them who’s BOSS.

Now, go back to the beginning, when I asked you to close your eyes and ignore the mumbles and grumbles. But this time, turn around and give one last, death-stare to those voices and

WBG :)x

Now remember what a very wise woman once said… “When I’m good, I’m very very good. But when I’m bad I’m better!” – Mae West

Also, if you can find a copy (I don’t believe it is still in print but worth the effort) A Whistling Woman Is Up To No Good by Laurel King. Happy reading!

Thanks for the follow and I shall look forward to checking out your blog. 🙂

Now I wish I wore glasses so I could push them back up with my middle finger! But the sun has finally started shining so I guess I can use my sunglasses. Great post!
